Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating takes pride in its long history of being a trusted neighbor to customers and an engaged partner in the community. We provide service at the highest levels of professionalism and pursue excellence daily in all facets of our company. Although we officially began operating in 2010, our story began long before that.

Dennis Smith began Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating as a follow up venture after he had a highly successful 27-year career as the owner of D. E. Smith Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in California providing expert commercial and residential HVAC work.

Dennis brought his 45+ years of experience to Georgetown when he became a resident of Sun City in 2009 and started Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating in 2010 to provide the same professional service to this community.

In early 2019, Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating entered the next stage of growth as Dennis sold the company to Georgetown native Scott Mangum. Scott spent 21 years in the HVAC industry working for major manufacturers and distribution in sales management, training, and business development.

Scott is a 1991 graduate of Georgetown High School, a 1996 graduate of Baylor University, and a 2013 MBA graduate of Concordia University – Austin. Scott has a strong passion for excellence in the workplace and is an invested community citizen.

Scott and the Georgetown Air Conditioning Team are poised to continue to grow the business while maintaining the strong character and work ethic that our customers have grown accustomed to for many years.
