HVAC Maintenance Plans
Our Maintenance Plans Pay for Themselves
We encourage you to sign up for our annual maintenance plan, and you can call us for pricing for the maintenance special. Financing is available based on your credit, and we accept major credit cards for any type of service maintenance or new installation. The maintenance plans are as follows:
Furnace (Fall/Winter or Upon Your Request)
- We add chemical/bleach to condensate the drain line (the cost of the chemicals are included)
- All limit controls are checked
- We check for carbon monoxide using a high-tech CO tester which can find even minute particles over a normal CO unit
- If necessary, we'll adjust burners for the proper burning of fuel or gas
- The filter will be replaced if you have one available unless you're using a 5" filter - this type of filter will be replaced annually, and the cost of this filter is NOT included
- Firebox is cleaned if necessary (most older units require this)
- Check for gas leakages with our electronic natural gas detector
Air Conditioner (Spring/Summer or Upon Your Request)
- Chemicals designed to clean the outside of the condenser are used (cost of chemical included)
- Amperage on fan and compressor are checked for proper operation
- Refrigerant is checked and charged if necessary
- We add chemical/bleach to condensate the drain line (the cost of the chemicals are included)
- Evaporator motor is checked for proper operation
- The filter will be replaced if you have one available unless you're using a 5" filter - this type of filter will be replaced annually for an additional fee of $112
- Float valve is checked in condensate pan (in attic) for proper operation
The team at Georgetown Air Conditioning & Heating uses a condenser cleaning chemical that does not harm copper or aluminum. The purpose for this cleaning process is to drop the amperage, or the current draw of power, to save you money for the maintenance plan, and sometimes you'll save even more.
We highly recommend that you never use home products to clean the coil in your HVAC unit since this will most likely eat through the aluminum and end up causing major issues down the road.
